How it works

A small tool with a clear job.

Thumbframe takes a public YouTube video link, finds the thumbnail sizes made available for that video, and gives you a simple preview before you save one.

1. Paste a link

Use a standard watch link, a youtu.be link, a Short, a live link, or an embed URL. We validate the hostname and extract only the video ID.

2. Choose a size

Some videos have more thumbnail sizes than others. We show only the variants that are actually available and make the largest available image the default.

3. Download the image

Choose Download JPG when you are ready. The file is streamed through a controlled download endpoint rather than accepting arbitrary remote URLs.

Use responsibly. Download and reuse images only when you own them or have permission from the rights holder. Thumbframe is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube.
